Ingredients:-
For the Donuts
- All purpose flour
- Cornflour
- Yeast
- Honey
- Powdered Sugar
- Cocoa powder
- 4 egg yolks
- Milk
For the Buttercream
- Softened butter
- Vanilla essence
- Icing Sugar
Procedure:-
- Take a clean large bowl and sift the dry ingredients.
- Add the yeast to the milk at 110°C along with honey and whisk until yeast dissolves partially. Let it rest for 15 min until the mixture becomes little frothy.
- Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients along with the egg yolks and powdered sugar. Make a smooth dough.
- Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 2 hours at room temperature and for 6 to 8 hours in the refrigerator.
- Cut donuts from the dough and place them on a baking sheet. Let them rest for 15 min until they poof up.
- Bake them in a preheated oven for about 20 min at 180°C.
- For the Buttercream, beat the butter until fluffy. Add the icing sugar and vanilla essence. Mix until the sugar is dissolved.
- Glaze the donuts with the buttercream and sprinkle some donut which is broken into small bits.
- Enjoy.
